Escape from Congo
Jean-Claude was studying law at Lumumbashi University when some students disappeared mysteriously. After they discovered the dead body of one of them, Jean-Claude with the help of others started to investigate the facts behind those disappearances, then began to organize a protest against the Government because of what has been happening on the campus. However, next day at night the army surrounded the campus, targeting certain students, killing 500. Jean-Claude somehow managed to escape and get into a refugee camp in Zambia. There he accepted Jesus as his Saviour and Lord.Later the Zambian Government decided to repatriate him, but before this was due, together with church elders he prayed and fasted for two days. Just before the police came to deport him, his Australian visa arrived and he was safe.
Now he is serving God as a Deacon and as a member of an evangelistic team in the Christian Life Centre Church in Blacktown. Furthermore he is serving in partnership with another church, presenting the Gospel to orphans.
