Dear Members and Friends,
While our Meeting serves as Members' encouragement and fellowship, its first and foremost aim is to provide a place to lead people to Jesus, who don’t know Him as Lord, Saviour and Friend. The talk is not about doctrine, but about real life experience.
Our Guest Speaker in August is Ian McCormac.
A GLIMPSE OF ETERNITY
Ian was an atheist adventurer from New Zealand. On one occasion he spent some time in Mauritius, where among other things he worked with a group of fishermen. They dived to catch shellfish, together with Ian, when Ian got bitten on his arm by a deadly box jelly fish, not once, but five times. They dragged him ashore, but taking him to the hospital was a problem. As the venom began working in him, proceeding further and further in his body and time was ticking away, he began to get a little worried, what if God and hell were after all real? Later on he was nick-named “ The Jelly Fish Man”
Miraculously Ian was picked up somehow by an ambulance. By the time he was taken to the hospital he was at death’s door, but on the way he had a unique conversion experience. While the doctor tried to treat him, he died and found himself in hell. However, soon he was taken up to heaven into the glorious presence of the Lord. Partly because of the potential heartbreak of Ian’s mother, Jesus sent him back into his, now miraculously healed body to a shock of the medical staff. – Unfortunately he can’t be here in person, but a very detailed interview with him on DVD will be shown.
It will be inspiring to hear Ian’s detailed life, death and rising experience, his conversation with Jesus, feeling His wonderful love, as He changed and healed him and worked through him.
Come and bring wives or partners, relatives, friends, and who don’t know Jesus as Lord, Saviour and Friend, whose future in eternity is a concern for you, those who are sick and/or who have any difficulty coping with the problems/stresses of life, and listen to this interesting life story and receive a blessing.
After the talk there will be an offer of confidential counselling and prayer for any need..
