One Who Learnt How to be an Overcomer
Rod grew up in a nominal Christian family, but his father was gambling, swearing, violent with alcoholic indulgence. The family broke up when Rod was 11 years old. Then his dear Gran looked after him with his Dad and she introduced him to Jesus, her personal saviour and best friend.As discipline and supervision were gone, Rod got mixed up with the wrong crowd, which led him into violence, gambling, drinking and petty crime from age 15 for 18 years. He survived being shot at and overdosing on drugs.
After a period of sincere and desperate seeking of God's will for his life he was miraculously baptised in the Holy Spirit. Since that day he has lived a life filled with "signs and wonders" and after loosing his business through unscrupulous men, experiencing many, many miracles as a missionary in PNG. Then God built for him a new business. Through thick and thin God taught him how to be an overcomer and to walk in victory, regardless of the circumstances.
It will be inspiring to hear Rod testifying of the wonderful love and power of the Lord, as He changed him and empowered him to serve Him in victory over very difficult circumstances.
